Evan ClarkEvan Clark co-founded BlueStar Search Partners in 2006. Evan conducts searches in all sectors of the financial services industry and is particularly focused on Investment Management and Equity Research. Prior to BlueStar, Evan was a Director at The Whitney Group, a global financial services recruiting firm, where she worked for 1996-2006. During her tenure at Whitney she completed searches for Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch and Barclays as well as a number of hedge funds and long only investment management firms. Evan began her career at Merrill Lynch in the Institutional Client Group where she sold fixed income derivatives and corporate bonds to institutional investors. Evan is a board member at Cornell University's undergraduate business school and she is on the advisory board for the Cornell Women's Leadership Program. Evan was a featured speaker at The Cornell Leadership Conference in Washington D.C.

Evan graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Applied Economics.

Kathy Dodd ObrienKathy Dodd Obrien co-founded BlueStar Search Partners in 2006. She has worked with a variety of global products and industry groups on both the buy side and the sell side in equities and fixed income. Kathy has worked with bulge bracket investment banks, middle market investment banks, private equity firms and hedge funds. Prior to BlueStar, Kathy was a Managing Director and founding member of the Credit Suisse (CS) leveraged loan group. She spent 16 years at CS in banking, leveraged loan capital markets, and sales. Kathy was ultimately Deputy Head of the syndicated loan sales desk. When in global banking and leveraged debt capital markets, Kathy helped structure deals in all industries working with the financial sponsors group, high yield, equities, corporate clients and private equity firms. This financial expertise gives her a unique ability as a recruiter to understand and differentiate the critical skills needed in a candidate when building out a business or a product group at a firm. Kathy ran the Cornell Analyst and Associate recruiting efforts and was a member of the Managing Director promotions committee. In this role, Kathy was responsible for reviewing and recommending people at CS in all parts of the organization. She was frequently called upon to be a leader in diversity programs aimed at attracting women and other diversity candidates to the firm. Kathy mentored women at the entry level and mid-level of the firm.

Elizabeth Kenny DoughertyElizabeth Kenny Dougherty is responsible for conducting searches in all sectors of the financial services industry with a particular focus on hedge funds. She focuses on candidate sourcing strategies and conducts competitive intelligence analysis. Prior to joining BlueStar Search Partners, she was a member of the HR and Recruiting team at Viking Global Investors, a global investment management firm, where she worked from 2011 to 2015. During her tenure at Viking, she completed searches across all areas of the firm, including investment management, investor relations, and quantitative trading. She was also involved in the grant-making operations of Viking Global Foundation focused on early childhood education in NYC and southwestern CT.

Kenny graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in Art History in 2010.

Caroline YackeryCaroline Yackery is the COO/CAO responsible for information technology, database maintenance, accounting and invoicing. Caroline began her career at Merrill Lynch and Mayer and Schweitzer as an assistant trader and an assistant to top producing Financial Consultants. In 2002 Caroline started CJ Gold, an information technology company providing technical support to private clients.

Caroline graduated from State University of New York at Oneonta with a BS in Business Economics.
